Professional Diving Equipment Supply & Maintenance

ELAWADY operates across four equipment categories — surface supplied diving systems, commercial and scuba diving equipment, freediving gear, and marine operational support — with in-house maintenance and servicing. Based in Sidi Bishr, Alexandria, supplying diving and marine operations across Egypt since 2017.

Equipment Supply Across the Full Diving Spectrum

ELAWADY's supply covers both ends of the professional diving industry — from the surface supplied systems that commercial divers depend on in port and offshore environments, to the scuba configurations used by technical and professional divers across Egypt.

Each category is handled as a functional operational requirement, not a retail product line. Equipment is sourced for performance and reliability. Maintenance is available for what we supply. Availability is confirmed directly.

The business is located in Sidi Bishr, Alexandria — a position that provides direct access to the region's commercial diving sector, port operations, and the wider marine industry across Egypt's northern coastline.

Commercial Diving Systems for Operational Deployment

Surface supplied diving places the highest demands on equipment. The diver is tethered to a surface support system and depends entirely on the integrity of the umbilical assembly, the reliability of the communication link, and the consistent output of the air compressor. There is no redundancy that replaces a properly maintained, correctly specified system.

ELAWADY supplies the core components that make up a functional surface supplied diving operation.

Commercial Diving Helmets

Demand and free-flow helmet configurations for commercial diving operations. Helmets form the primary interface between the diver and the surface support system — gas delivery, communications, and environmental protection are all routed through the helmet assembly. We supply helmets appropriate for the operational environment, not just the general category.

Umbilical Assemblies

The umbilical is the lifeline of a surface supplied diver. It carries the breathing gas supply hose, through-water communication cable, and safety line in a bundled assembly rated for operational depth and working conditions. We supply umbilical systems and components for commercial diving configurations.

Through-Water Communication Systems

Diver-to-surface communication is a non-negotiable requirement in commercial diving. We supply through-water communication units and hardwired communication systems that maintain a clear operational link between the diver and the dive supervisor on the surface.

Air Compressor Systems

Surface supplied diving requires a reliable, clean air source at the correct working pressure. We supply compressor systems suitable for professional diving operations — units that meet the operational demand of commercial surface supplied work, not recreational approximations.

Surface Supply Units & Operational Hardware

Control panels, gas distribution panels, depth gauges, and the surface-side operational hardware that supports a complete surface supplied diving deployment. We supply individual components and broader surface support configurations depending on operational requirements.

Professional Scuba Configurations for Operational Use

Scuba equipment for commercial and professional diving is selected differently from recreational gear. It needs to perform consistently across repeated operational use, service intervals need to be predictable, and the diver needs confidence in every component in the water.

ELAWADY supplies scuba diving equipment configured for operational and professional use — not the recreational end of the market.

Regulators

First stage and second stage regulators in DIN and A-clamp configurations. We supply regulators appropriate for the diver's operational environment, depth range, and gas mixture requirements. Regulator servicing is available in-house to maintain the performance cycle.

BCDs

Buoyancy compensator devices in back-inflate and jacket configurations for varying operational requirements. BCD selection affects diver trim and control — we supply appropriate configurations and provide inspection and servicing to maintain operational integrity.

Diving Cylinders

Steel and aluminium cylinders across standard working volumes for scuba and surface supplied diving applications. We supply cylinders for operational diving use across Alexandria and Egypt.

Wetsuits & Drysuits

Thermal exposure protection in 3mm, 5mm, and 7mm wetsuit configurations for varying water temperatures along Egypt's coastline and offshore environments. Semi-dry and drysuit options for cold-water or extended operational diving.

Fins

Open-heel and full-foot fins across paddle and split configurations. Fin selection affects propulsion efficiency and diver fatigue over extended operational dives — we supply fins suited to the diver's working environment rather than a generic recreational market.

Masks

Single-lens, twin-lens, and low-volume dive masks for scuba and commercial diving operations. Wide field-of-view configurations for operational visibility in working dive environments.

Accessories & Operational Components

Dive computers, submersible pressure gauges, dive lights and underwater torches, dive knives, surface marker buoys, weight systems, and the operational accessory range that supports a fully equipped professional diver.

Functional Equipment for Breath-Hold Diving

Freediving equipment is engineered around a different set of priorities than scuba — low volume, hydrodynamic efficiency, and minimal resistance at depth. We supply freediving equipment for divers who work at depth on breath-hold, whether for professional, competitive, or structured recreational purposes.

Low-Volume Masks

Low internal volume reduces the equalization effort required at depth. We supply single-lens and frameless freediving masks designed for the pressure demands of breath-hold diving.

Long-Blade Fins

Fiberglass and carbon blade fins in open-heel configurations for extended glide efficiency and reduced kick effort. Blade stiffness and length are matched to the diver's weight, technique, and working depth range.

Snorkels

J-tube and low-profile snorkel configurations without unnecessary valves or purge mechanisms — the freediving standard for a reason.

Thermal Wetsuits

Open-cell and closed-cell freediving wetsuits in configurations suited to the Mediterranean and Red Sea operational environments. Thermal protection without excess volume or drag.

Accessories

Neck weights, weight belts, lanyards, dive floats, and the operational accessories that support a complete freediving setup.

Operational Maintenance. Not a Recommendation — A Requirement.

Diving equipment is not passive. Every component in the system — from a regulator's first stage seat to a BCD's oral inflation valve — is subject to wear, contamination, and mechanical fatigue. The interval between service cycles is not a guideline to approximate. For commercial and professional divers, it is part of the operational discipline.

ELAWADY provides in-house maintenance and servicing for the equipment we supply. This is not an outsourced function or a peripheral service — it is a core part of how we operate.

Regulator Servicing & Overhaul

First stage and second stage regulator service involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection of internal components, o-ring and seat replacement, reassembly, and bench testing. A regulator that has not been serviced within its recommended interval should not be trusted in operational conditions. We service regulators to manufacturer specification intervals.

BCD Inspection & Servicing

BCD servicing covers bladder integrity checks, inflate and deflate valve inspection, oral inflation valve service, and dump valve function. A BCD with a compromised bladder or a sticking dump valve is an operational liability. We inspect and service BCDs to confirm they are in working order before the diver needs to depend on them.

Pre-Operational Equipment Checks

For commercial diving and marine operations with scheduled deployment, we provide pre-operational equipment inspection — a systematic check of the full equipment configuration before it goes into the water. This covers cylinder valve function, regulator delivery, BCD integrity, mask seal, and the relevant components of a surface supplied setup.

General Diving Equipment Inspection

Visual and functional inspection of diving equipment outside of scheduled service intervals — relevant when equipment has been in storage, has seen heavy operational use, or has been exposed to conditions that warrant a check before continued deployment.

Surface Supplied System Checks

Umbilical assembly inspection, communication system function checks, compressor output verification, and helmet seal and demand valve assessment for surface supplied diving configurations.

Tools, Hardware, and Field Support Equipment

Diving operations require more than the core personal equipment. Operational fieldwork involves underwater tools, signalling equipment, lift hardware, and the accessory range that makes the difference between a prepared operation and an improvised one.

Underwater Tools & Cutting Equipment

Dive knives, shears, and underwater cutting tools for commercial diving and marine operational applications. Tool selection and retention systems appropriate for the working environment.

Surface Marker Buoys & Signalling

SMBs, dive flags, and surface signalling equipment for dive operations in areas with surface traffic or where diver location needs to be visible from the surface.

Underwater Torches & Dive Lights

Primary and backup dive lights for low-visibility operational diving, confined-space work, and night operations in commercial and professional environments.

Lifting Bags & Salvage Equipment

Operational lift bags for underwater recovery work and commercial diving applications where controlled lift capability is required.

Dive Slates & Underwater Writing

Underwater communication slates and wrist-mount writing systems for diver-to-diver communication in commercial and professional diving operations.

Marine Accessories & Support Hardware

Operational diving accessories, marine hardware, and support equipment for fieldwork applications across commercial diving, port operations, and marine industry environments.

Where You Source Your Equipment Has Operational Consequences

Equipment sourcing is a decision with downstream consequences — for performance, for maintenance scheduling, and for operational reliability when the equipment is in the water.

Reliability Requires Accountability

Equipment from an indifferent supplier has no accountability behind it. If a regulator fails its service interval or a BCD develops a fault, the value of having a supplier who services what they sold becomes immediate. ELAWADY maintains the equipment we supply. That relationship does not exist with an anonymous import or an online transaction.

Maintenance Continuity

Diving equipment serviced by the same operation that supplied it has a known service history. We know what we supplied, when it was last serviced, and what its current operational status is. That continuity matters for commercial diving operations running scheduled maintenance cycles.

Operational Readiness

Professional and commercial divers cannot afford equipment that is technically functional but operationally unreliable. The distinction between a regulator that breathes and a regulator that performs under working conditions is real. We supply equipment that is appropriate for the operational context, not just available in the right size.

Local Access in Alexandria

Sourcing from a supplier based in Alexandria means direct access to the equipment, direct communication about availability, and the ability to reach us physically when time matters. Marine operations, commercial diving contractors, and offshore support companies operating in Alexandria and along Egypt's northern coast benefit from a supplier that is present in the region.
